The Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, locally known as the 'Stedelijk', is a museum for modern art, contemporary art, and design located in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

"Stedelijk" means urban or town, so I rolled with the concept of layering the outlines of Amsterdam's city maps over the years. 

The main visual identity is very straightforwardly black and white so it would not distract visitors from viewing the art in the museum.

To catch the eye in public with their advertisement or announcements, contrasting colours are used, e.g.: blue with orange, green with pink, purple and yellow.
